Certificate Warranty, or Relying-Party Warranty is an insurance for website visitors against loss of money due to failure of the installed certificate when submitting a payment on an SSL-secured site. It is an extra assurance that your site is safe to conduct business online.

Based on the certificate product, each certificate has a Maximum Certificate Coverage and a Total Payment Limit for the duration of its validity.

The Maximum Certificate Coverage is a per incident maximum payout, while the Total Payment Limit is the total amount upto which claims will be paid out for the duration of the certificate validity. We always display the Total Payment Limit for each certificate on our website.
